Craft Time...

Last week's craft was Penguin Puppets.
The directions said to cut a piece of black construction paper to fit your child's finger, but I still had some dime size coin wrappers left over from making the Santa and Rudolph puppets, so I used those. If you don't have any coin wrappers, I am sure construction paper will work just as well.

Cut a piece of black felt large enough to cover the coin wrapper. Then glue it on the coin wrapper.
Next, cut an oval from the black felt...

Glue it around the middle of the coin wrapper...

Cut out a "half oval" from the black felt. This will be for the head.

Then trace your child's pointer finger onto white felt...

Glue it on the body...

Then glue the eyes and beak(a diagonal from orange felt, if you have it, or orange construction paper) on the head...

Ta Da...

Now put on a penguin puppet show!
