I didn't take very many pix at Thanksgiving & the ones I did take are horrible, so I apologize in advance for the bad picture quality you are about to witness.

Great Grandma C. rocked Mel to sleep. I think she was a bit proud of her accomplishments as that was not an easy task...
My mom buys the grand kids Xmas pjs every year. Taylor and B couldn't wait to put them on...

Practicing Her Letters...
Just a few pix of B practicing her letters. We didn't send her to preschool this year, but we are practicing with her at home. So far, she loves to learn. Her favorite "time" is "rhyme time". I say a word and she says words that rhyme with the word given. Sometimes she makes up words, but at least they rhyme.
Here is a peak at the letters she wrote the other day...

Sick...
I have had a cough and congestion for about the last week. After not sleeping very well last night and waking Mel with my cough, I decided to go to the doctor. He said I have a sinus infection and put me on an antibiotic. Hopefully I am feeling better by Thanksgiving!

Happy Friday...
Some fun pictures of the girlies to get all of you through until Monday. I probably won't be able to post anything this weekend. It's going to be busy. Saturday I have a photo session in the morning, a baby shower in the afternoon, and a 30th birthday party in the evening. Happy 30th Dylan!!!!!!!!!!! Then, on Sunday, my family is having their Thanksgiving dinner(lunch for all you city folk:0)!

The guys were able to get back out to the fields today, after a few rainy days. The countdown is on. While I wish it wouldn't have rained, it was nice to have Brad home early the last few nights. Now he is back to working late, but hoping to finish up soon.....hopefully by Thanksgiving if the weather holds out!

To The People Who Make Robitussin...
Your new improved taste....
is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I think the cleaner that I use to mop my floors probably tastes better than this. Granted, I didn't really care for the taste of your product before, I have to say I liked it MUCH better than your new improved taste. Please go back to the old flavor.
Thanks,
Sarah M.
I have developed a cough over the last few days and I was taking another cough suppressant that wasn't working so I decided to buy some good ole Robitussin. I took it this morning and almost gagged at the taste. The flavor before was yucky, but this is drop to your knees disgusting!! When I drank it I thought maybe it was expired or something, but then I looked at the box and saw the new and improved label. While the taste may be new, it definitely isn't improved.

The Real Mrs. Potato Head...
My mom was over the other night and B was playing with her Mrs. Potato Head. Mom told B that when she was a little girl, they didn't have the "potato" part of Mrs. Potato Head but they had the pieces to put in a real potato. She said the pieces were metal and kind of sharp so they were easy to stick into the potato. Sounds safe huh??? Let's give our kids sharp objects to stick into a potato. Why don't we just give them a peeler and a knife so they can make mashed potatoes when they are done playing!!!:0). Ahhh...the good ole days!!!
So here is the "real" Mrs. Potato Head that B and Grandma created. It looks rather anorexic compared to the other one.:0)
