Random...

I haven't done a random post in a while and if you know me, I have several...ok, millions of random thoughts a day. So I thought I would share some with you.

I got my hair cut today. Just a trim. I love getting my haircut!
I have been going to the same lady for almost 25 years.
She gave me my first haircut as well as B's and Mel's. I think that is pretty cool!

I hate forwards. I don't like getting them because I think they are always linked to a virus.
I know...I'm too insecure.

The guys have been working on tearing the old barn down at our house.
They are saving all the metal so we can sell as scrap.
We are going to build a new shop.
I know the focus is on Brad and Dillon on the roof, but I just can't get over that pretty blue sky.
Yes Chantel, that is your son way at the top.
I told him not to fall because I didn't want you mad at me.
I would consider that a fair warning. Right??;0)

Break time...

He is a little closer to the bottom in this pic.
Does that make you feel better Chantel??
Oh and look, Tom is even spotting him.
He will definitely be there to catch him if he falls!

Or not...
"Hey Tom, you are supposed to be spotting Dillon!"

Justin Bieber is growing a mustache. I am sitting on the edge of my seat and CANNOT wait to see the end result.

Maybe I should sit back a bit. I may be on the edge of my seat for several months.;o)
My two favorite teams, Purdue and Kansas, are moving on to round 3 of the tournament.
They both play tomorrow and I don't know which shirt to wear.
I wore my Purdue shirt yesterday, so I think it is only fair to wear the Kansas shirt tomorrow. Right??
Maybe I will just wear one for half the day and the other one for the other half.
We don't have cable, so I am not able to watch all the games and all the game I want to watch are on cable.
I know, you can't believe we don't have cable, but after B was born and I started staying home, we had to make some cuts and that was the first to go.
I never really missed it...until now because I can't even watch Kansas and Purdue play.
Hopefully they will make it to at least the Final Four and I will get to watch them then.
Although, we do have some pretty awesome friends who would gladly let us invade their homes to watch them.
We should probably scratch John Paul and Chantel's house off that list since I let her baby up on the roof of that barn!

My range blew up yesterday.
Literally.
Sparks were flying.
It had a good run of 25 years...i think.
It was here when we moved in.

Did you hear about the man from Chile that has 82 Julia Roberts tattoos?
You can go here to see them.
I couldn't bring myself to posting them on here.
Some of them don't even look like her.

I think my internal clock is finally getting accustomed to daylight savings time.
I never have to set an alarm.
I overslept Tuesday and Wednesday and rushed around to get B to school on time.
Now, I am back to waking up on my own again.

Happy weekend everyone!

  5. Ok, first things first. You guys are always welcome at our house to watch the games. John Paul would actually love the fact that he had someone to watch a game with. Second, I feel blessed to have almost an entire post dedicated to me. Third, I laughed out loud on that post. It was as if you were reading my mind. My only question is why was Dillon at the top of the roof and Brad halfway down? Was he supposed to cushion his fall if he fell? Ha ha just kidding. Dillon warned me about your blog when he came home that day!
