I got the idea from here.
You will need paint,
4 popsicle sticks with one of them cut in half,
and several toothpicks.
Have your child dip their thumb in the paint color of their choice and press in onto the paper to make the dinosaur head.
Then have them do the same with their pointer finger to make the dinosaur nose, or snout...whatever it is called. I'm sure their is technical term, but I don't know it so for this purpose, we will refer to it as the nose...
Use the shorter sticks for the neck and tail. Use the longer sticks for the stomach and the legs...
too cute...what a great idea...
ReplyDeleteLovely idea! And Mel..with those chubby knees and band aid...too cute!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mess! :)
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh your girls are adorable! Especially the little one with the pig tails!
ReplyDeleteAdam uses tempera paint, but I only give him 3 colors at a time and he has a separate paint brush for each one. We have NOT had luck with watercolor.
