In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, I planned some activities for the girls. They started the day off by watching "The Cat in the Hat" on PBS kids before school... After lunch they made their own Cat in the Hat hat...
Then B put on a puppet show with the puppets I made out of pipe cleaners yesterday.
Mel decided not to participate...
After nap, B colored place mats for supper time...
Then we made a Cat in the Hat hat pizza...
After baths, the girls did a maze to help the Cat find his hat....
and connect the dots...
After all that, B was tired so she and the Cat in the Hat rested in their "sleeping bags" while watching survivor.
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Looks like you had a great Dr. Seuss Day! It was always my favorite when I was teaching first graders. And, I love the pizza!
