Project 365 Day 54...

Brad's new tractor...
Today was the annual New Salem Lions Club Sale. If you don't know what it is....you are missing out!! It is a HUGE deal around these parts! I have never been, but all the farmers around here never miss it. Standing out in the cold watching farm equipment sell never really appealed to me. Most people, including Brad, make several trips over to the club in the weeks leading to the sale to scope out the merchandise. This year Brad had two things on his "wish list" and he got one of them. I heard a tractor pull in the driveway and looked out the window. He saw me and immediately grinned ear-to-ear. Totally worth it to see that expression!!!;)

Project 365 Day 53...

Today's pictures of the day really aren't the best quality of photos, but they are still cute. B is going to be the flower girl in our friends', Dylan & Sara, wedding. We went today to try on some dresses. Some were itchy...some were scratchy...but I think we settled on the most comfortable one. B is ready to "throw flowers." Now we just need to teach her that Mickey is not the ring bearer!:0)

B & Sara (the bride)...

We had some time to kill before David's Bridal opened so we went to Uncle Bill's. Sara held a puppy and she shared with B.

The Doctors Are In...

B was playing doctor last night and Brad was the patient. The first pic is a little "orangey". I had to tweak my white balance a bit.

The Mel had to come assist her sister...

He had a blood pressure of 5 according to B....(sounds awfully low to me!:0)

A shot in the leg...

And in each finger!Ouch!!

And finally, just a cute one of Mel I snapped today!

Project 365 Day52...

Dragonflies...

Pictures from Tuesday...

On Tuesday, the girls and I went to visit my sister. I had a baby gift for Keith and had a "big sister" gift for Taylor. We got her an aqua doodle...
B is currently in a kangaroo kick and so she loved this book...

B and Grandma Spaeth made Taylor a candy necklace...

The girls enjoyed playing with the aqua doodle. Luckily, I thought ahead and brought two extra markers...

A few pix of Keith. I took these while he was lying on the purple beanbag and didn't really pay attention to the color of the beanbag until after I took them:0)...

Here we go! A brown blanket, that is better for a boy! I think he is happier with the change in backdrop also. He is smiling!

Candy Necklace...

My mom and B made this fun craft the other night. She got the idea from fisher price. They have a ton of neat crafts to do with your kids. They used fruit loops and yarn. The directions said to use licorice for the string, but B doesn't like licorice. My mom called the other day and told me to save my egg cartons because she has another craft idea. Will post pix of that also!

Project 365 Day 51...

An audience...
B watches PBS kids every morning. This morning she thought all of her "friends" needed to watch also. She gave them stadium seating. She was very specific when she was finding a chair for them. They could not block the view of the person behind them!

A Day In the Life of Me...

I got this idea from Meg. I follow her blog regularly. She did this a week or so ago. Except, her life is probably a lot more hectic than mine. She has 5 kids...I only have two. Anywho, last Friday, February 19, I took random photos throughout the day...all day long. The day was a little more calm than most days. Only a couple tantrums were thrown, no drinks were spilled, etc. I would like to do this again when it warms up and we are busier....maybe when the guys are doing fieldwork and I take them lunch...uggg, I DON'T even want to think about that right now!:0(. So, enjoy the photos below of our normal crazy day.

B likes milk to drink for breakfast...

Mel prefers OJ...

Mel in the morning...

My breakfast...i splurged...i normally don't eat breakfast...

feeding the fish...

Somedays I could drink a gallon of this stuff, but try to limit myself to 1...

They could color all day long...

I am Catholic so on Fridays during Lent, I have to abstain from eating meat. So, we had tuna noodle casserole...

One of Mel's tantrum's Friday involved her cleaning all the artwork off the refrigerator. Once she was over it, she hung it all back up...

Currently nap time....PEACEFUL...

Watching the Olympics...the girls love to "ice skate"...

Mel "ice skating"...

Bedtime...

Brad puts Mel to bed and I put B to bed...that is what works for us... that is why I have no pix of Mel at bedtime...

And this usually sums up my day...
Exhausted, but happy!
