Louisville...

Last weekend Brad and I took a little trip to Louisville, KY. We left Friday morning and headed to the National Farm Machinery Show. For his birthday, I gave him tickets to the championship tractor pull. The pull was in the evening so we spent the day at the show.

In order to participate in this tractor pull, you have to be invited...which means the best pullers in the nation were there. Don't worry, I actually enjoy tractor pulls...and if I get bored, I start taking pictures.:0)

My brother and sister-in-law were there also. They sat across the track from us.

The introduction of drivers. There were two girls that participated in the truck pulls.

This guy had a full pull, obviously. After a couple of pulls like this, they reset the sled.

Since the Rollin' Stone wasn't there this year, we decided to root for this guy, and he did not let us down...

He is from New Palestine, Indiana.

This guy was DQ'd

The tractor cannot touch the white line.

Tim Cain had to compete in a pull-off with another guy.

And he WON! See the white line with a red circle around it. That marks a full pull, and he went past that.

  1. Looks like you guys had fun. Our son Andrew was supposed to work the Farm Machinery Show... but he got his appendix out instead! :)
