dear santa....

this is brittney's letter to santa...she told me what she wanted and i wrote it. i knew she wanted woody and buzz lightyear (or as brittney says, fuzz lightyeard), but the reindeer was new. maybe we can put one with our goats..haha..just kidding...brad wouldn't be very happy about that one. i don't know of very many little girls who want woody and buzz lightyear for christmas, but this one does. she has never played with baby dolls much...she would rather play with farm animals...maybe melaney will be more of a girlie girl, but if she doesn't it's ok. i like tom boys!:)




this is brittney's name...or so she says. she can actually spell her own name and today she attempted to write it...

family portraits....

i took this wonderful family's pictures a couple of weeks ago. they have one little girl and another on the way in february...how exciting! There is nothing like the bond between two sisters!:) So, like i said, we took these pictures a couple of weeks ago and it was freezing outside....the poor little girl was shivering! we took a lot of pictures in about 10 minutes. i think that was the fastest session i have done so far. thanks guys! hope you found some you liked!!

well, here it is...a picture of me with my two sweet babes. i don't really like having my picture taken...i would rather be the one taking the pictures...my sister actually took this one and i think it turned out fairly well!:)

Big Sister...

I love this picture. There is nothing special about it, just a simple snapshot...i love that the girls are both smiling. I was a little nervous about how brittney would react to not being the only child in the house. From the day we brought melaney home she has amazed me. I'll admit we've had our moments, but nothing like I expected. She is a great big sister!!:)

Halloween pix...

Here are some quick halloween snapshots... I didn't dress Mel in a costume, but at least she was festive in her pumpkin sleeper. My kids are very fortunate to have 3 sets of great grandparents. They all live close by so we get to see them often. We are very lucky!!!:) I was able to get a picture of all the great grandparents except for Grandpa Spaeth. He doesn't like to have his picture taken, but I'll get it one of these days!!

Once again, Lionel the Lion. The Rushville FFA hosted a "truck or treat". Brittney's favorite cousin Denise was the lion. (I guess I shouldn't say favorite cousin because B has so many that she loves and adores.)
