Yum!!
We have the best neighbors ever!
Saturday night they knocked on our door and asked if we would like some homemade "Fried pies"
Well of course!
We got a dozen.
I have only had three.
Or maybe four....I can't remember.
Let's see at 500 calories a piece that would be....
2000 calories!!!!!!!!!
Yet so worth it!!
Just look at that ooey-gooey goodness!...
Well, I am off to run for 2 miles...or the distance it takes to burn 2000 calories!

Rain Is a Good Thing...
Last week we had a little shower of rain.
But it wasn't enough.
The forecasters are calling for rain tonight.

I didn't get my spring cleaning done in the spring.
I FINALLY got my cabinets cleaned last week.
Spring and Summer are busy times for us so I think Fall cleaning might become the norm around here.

Eager to Learn...
I am always eager to see what B did at preschool when we get home and she is always eager to show me.
On this particular day, she had a lot to show me...
Last week was "B" week and, coincidentally, B was leader for the week.
She is a little concerned this week because it is "C" week and Dustin is the leader.
It just doesn't make sense to her.
Last night she kept telling me that Chantel (one of the teachers) should be the leader because her name starts with "C".
Then I tried to explain to her that the teachers go by alphabetical order.
I don't think she understood.
On this particular day, she had a lot to show me...

Field Fire...
Another big field fire in the county.
This picture was taken from our driveway...
It was just a few miles south of us...
Brad took a tractor and disc down, along with several other farmers, to help extinguish the fire.
Brad estimated that it burnt 200-300 acres...
These were taken tonight after it was out...
Several homes had to be evacuated and you can see in this photo, how close it was to one home...
They think a cigarette started it. Please, please, please DO NOT throw your cigarettes out the window.

I took pictures of the TV, but Brad is in one of those tractors...I think.
He said there were about 8 or 9 farmers with tractors helping.
Gotta love those farmers!!;)

A little advice from the coach...
I have found that she listens to Mandi (the other coach) more than she does me!
Goal kick...
She wasn't cooperating and didn't want to do what I told her so I just picked her up and put her where she needed to go. I don't think I could do that if I wasn't her mom!:)...
Towards the end, she got tired/bored and started playing with her shadow...
