I'm Still Here...

Don't worry. I am still alive. I haven't blogged since Wednesday. That is highly unusually for me! Trust me, I am having some serious withdrawals, but time just hasn't been available to blog. I LOVE summer, but it definitely keeps us busy. There is always yard work, gardening, canning, playing with the girls, plus trying to find time to do some housework....that just doesn't leave much time for blogging. So, I have a feeling, my 365 pictures, this summer, won't always be posted in a timely manner. I will continue to take the picture EVERY day, but it just may not get posted that same day. I am going to try to catch up today...hopefully!

In the meantime, I found time to check out the "Coming Home" photos on the Pioneer Woman's site and it has given me even more motivation to take some memorable pix this summer! Hopefully, I can achieve this goal.

Splish-Splashin' Again...

B has been in the pool everyday since Sunday. I have a feeling this is going to be a regular occurance. On Tuesday, we went to my sisters and B got to swim with her cousin Taylor...
Mel found a camera and decided she would rather "take pictures" than get in the pool...hmmm, sounds like someone else I know.;)...

Strawberry Jam...

I picked 6 qt. of yummy strawberries...
and turned them into this...

28 jars of delicious strawberry jam. I normally try to freeze about 50 jars so I am sure to have enough to last all year. Nothing is better than homemade jam!

Splashin' In the Pool...

The girls spent the majority of today in the pool.

At first Mel was modest and wanted to have the towel wrapped around her...
She is a little bashful when it comes to her bathing suit:)

This is what happened when the wind blew the towel off...

After I made a BIG deal about splashing in the water, she shed the beach towel for good, but still preferred to play with the hose instead...

She did go down the slide a few times though. I didn't take pix of that because I had to be ready in case she went under.

A Different Kind of Photo Shoot...

I can't remember if I posted these. I checked the archives and couldn't find anything, however I could have overlooked it. But, since we had the raccoon situation and I was talking about Dylan who was the avid trapper, I thought it would be appropriate to post these pictures...

Kind of a different photo shoot for me to try, but I am willing to try anything...well, almost...still no weddings:)

This is Dylan and his fiance Sara....oh and there dog Casey...

They are getting married in July. Brad is the best man and B is the flower girl. I can't wait for the wedding!
