Photo Coasters....

I wanted to share this idea with you. It came from Amanda from My Front Porch Looking In.
It is super easy and everyone loves them.
I made them to give away as Christmas gift (and made a set for myself also), but you could make them for any occasion or just because.

First you need 4 4x4 tiles (white or off-white). You can find these at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc...

Mod Podge and a paint brush...
and cork board. I found this at Lowe's. It comes in a roll and already has a "sticky side" so you don't have to glue it.

Then you will need 4 photos trimmed to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Glue the photo onto the tile by applying Mod Podge to the backside of the tile.
Then apply Mod Podge all over the top of the photo and to the edges of the tile.
Don't worry, it dries clear.
Once they are dry, spray them with a clear acrylic sealer. (No photo of that) You can find this at Wal-Mart or any craft store. I recommend doing this in a well-ventilated area.

The finished product...

I tied them together with a pretty bow and gave them away.
So fun to see people's reaction when they received them. They loved them.
This is a unique way to display your favorite photos. Everyone could use more coasters!
Have fun being crafty!
Head over to Beki's blog for a cool giveaway.
