Beef & Noodles...

I am in the truck riding home from the National Farm Machinery Show. I tried to write this on our way down to the show, but I got a bit carsick, so wanted to try it again.
I promised I would post this recipe today.
I crossed my heart so I had to do it or I would never forgive myself.

I got this recipe from Liz over at Two Maids a Milking.
It was delicious. Thanks Liz for sharing!

1 Beef Roast
1 beer can or bottle
1 package dry onion soup mix
3 cloves garlic
1 can cream of mushroom soup
10 c water
1 lb. homemade or store bought noodles. (I used homemade from our Amish neighbors)

Place roast in crock pot and pour beer, onion soup, and garlic over top.

Cook on low overnight. In the morning break meat apart. Add the mushroom soup and 6 c water. Add salt and pepper. Cook on low all day. An hour before you eat add the noodles as well as more water. Up to four cups depending on how moist you like it.

(We ate this for lunch at our house. I just turned the crock pot on high after I added the mushroom soup and it turned out fine.)

I served it with mashed potatoes, broccoli and biscuits. Then we had peanut butter pie for dessert. Scrumptious!

I forgot to take a picture before we ate, so here is after....
Food is really hard to photograph. Do you think so?

Enjoy!
