Craft Time...

Christmas is only five days away and I haven't posted hardly any Christmas crafts.  I am definitely getting caught up in all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.  Today is operation gift wrapping day at our house.  I only have a handful of gifts wrapped!

The girls and I have been making crafts, I just haven't had time to post them.  So, for the next couple of days I am going to have a Christmas Craft Time Marathon and randomly post crafts throughout the day.  I realize that doesn't give you much time to make them yourself, if you choose to do so, but you could "pin" them or bookmark them for next year.  Or maybe you could start making them in January and have them done for next year!

Anyhow, here is craft #1 of my Christmas Craft Time Marathon.
I got this idea from the beloved Pinterest (as I do with most of my crafts now!).

Take a wire coat hanger and undo the coil at the top like so...
Then "thread" ornament balls onto the wire....
I just bought cheapo ones at Wal-Mart and didn't have a bit of trouble with the tops popping off, however the lady that originally "pinned" this craft suggested hot gluing the tops on the ornaments.  So just do whatever works for you. (I also may have been a bit too lazy to do this)...

Voila...
B did most of the placement by herself and didn't have a pattern and I love how it turned out.

Stay tuned for more  crafts....

  1. What a great craft idea! I always fine tons of simple ornaments at the Dollar Stores. This would be a great craft for that. Thanks for the inspiration.
