What's In My Fridge?...

When I saw this Linky party on the Feminist Housewife's blog I thought to myself, "No way!  I am not posting pictures of my fridge on my blog."

Then I saw her pictures and I decided to just do it.  So here goes.  As you will probably be able to tell I didn't do any prep work.  I woke up that morning, reached for my Diet Pepsi and decided to start snapping away.

I didn't realize how gross my fridge was until I started taking pictures.  Please don't judge!

The top shelf always consists of milk (whole milk please!), OJ, sweet tea, and a pitcher of water...
Sippy cups of water are always a plus that way they are already chilled and the girls can get them themselves.  In the left hand corner is my Diet Pepsi that I was reaching for before I got the wild hair to do this...
Eggs are a necessity.  If I am ever out, it's a bad day.
My MIL gave me black raspberries and two pie crusts which I turned into a black raspberry pie today.  Yum!  Normally I use the Pioneer Woman's pie crust recipe, but I can't turn away something that is given to me!;0)...
The crisper drawers usually consist of a variety of cheeses and veggies...
Right now, the other crisper drawer is using to store some ice cold Busch Light.  Normally the beer is kept in the fridge in the garage, but it is starting to bite the dust...
Last but definitely not least is the fridge door.
This holds all of our condiments.  My personal fave!
We can't live without our Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing and Sweet Baby Ray's.
I have been known to throw the ranch dressing in my diaper bag and take it with us to various outings!!
I always try to have a supply of crescent rolls, flakey biscuits and breadsticks.  These are nice if I am in a rush...
We keep Aloe Vera gel in there too.
It soothes sunburn skin even better when it is ice cold...
 Next up is the freezer.
It's a mess.   I can't lie there.  I try to organize it, but it doesn't stay that way for very long.

I am also including a picture of our deep freeze.  We have a beef butchered every winter.  That adds up to be about 600 pounds of beef that we have made into roasts, steaks, hamburger, etc.  We also have a hog butchered and that gives us about 200 pounds of pork that we have made into sausage, roasts and chops.

In the 9.5 years that Brad and I have been together, I can probably count on one hand how many times I have had to buy meat at the grocery store and for that, I feel very fortunate!

  4. Oh my goodness you are brave to put fridge pictures up! Just thought I'd let you know we tried your beefy enchiladas recipe last night and LOVED it. It's so easy and perfect! I'll definitely be making them again soon! I added refried beans to some of them too...that was extra tasty! Thanks for the yummy dinner idea!

  5. LOVE LOVE LOVE your picture on "The Real Farmwives of America" WW post!

Oh and your fridge is 10 times cleaner than mine - and I think they should just call the second crisper drawer the beer drawer anyway!
