Last Thursday, my birthday, B graduated from Preschool.
How is that possible?
How did those 5 1/2 years go by so fast?
I don't know if I can handle it.
On our way to the graduation we saw a rainbow.
B and Mrs. Jessup...B and Chantel...
She was one of the lucky ones that didn't have to call Chantel "Mrs. Fowler".
She got by with it because Chantel is my friend so B doesn't know her as "Mrs. Fowler".
For most of the kids it was "Mrs. Flower".
The Pledge of Allegiance...
"If You're Happy and You Know It..."
"Humpty Dumpty"....
"Do Lord"...
"Hey Diddle Diddle"...B said she was holding a sign for "Hey Diddle Diddle"
I asked,"Oh do you get to hold the dog sign?"
"No," she replied. "I get to hold Diddle." ;0)
And hold Diddle she did and she did it like a pro...
"The Bean Bag Rock"...
"Hold the bean bag on your knee"....
Diploma time...
Chantel said something unique about each student.
She said that they often had to remind the class to not do some things like keeping their hands to themselves.
Every once in a while, B would forget. The she would look at the teachers when she realized what she had done and give them a wink.
And with that, it is official, our little girl is a graduate.
I asked her when we got home if she was sad that school was over.
She said, "No. I'm excited to be in Kindergarten."
Well, I'm glad someone is excited about that.
I am not ready to hand my daughter over to someone else for 7 hours. Ugh!
congrats to your little graduate..I love her sandals...
