Well, I have been a blog slacker yet again! It has been a week since I last posted anything. It has been crazy busy around here. B starts school in about two weeks so I have been reminding myself to breathe and enjoy the last few days of summer break with her. Therefore, blogging has taken a backseat.
A few weeks ago we got together with all of my mother-in-law's sisters and their families. She is one of six. We spent Friday at his aunt Chris' home and were able to relax a bit in the pool.
B was no stranger to the water. We borrowed a life jacket from a friend so she could jump off the diving board by herself. Thank goodness she didn't need help because I bet she jumped off that thing 50 times or more...
Aunt Lauren and Mel...
Being thrown in by daddy...
B and me...
The kid's table...Stuart, B, and Cody relaxing with their toes in the water...
Maddie, B, and Lauren...
The following pictures were taken by Stuart (with my camera). Any complaints shall be directed toward him;0).
Aunt Chris...
Lauren and Colleen (Brad's mom)...I am in LOVE with this picture. I don't know if it was posed or by chance....
That concludes Stuart's photography portion of this blog.
The rest are all mine!
On Saturday everyone headed back to Brad's parent's home for some additional family time...
The younger generation is awfully "tech savvy" aren't they??...It was so great to see everyone!
Love seeing the pics...so sad we couldn't join you all. It's on our family calendar for next year already! All 5 of us making the trip... ;)
ReplyDeleteSide note - can NOT believe B starts K in just 2 weeks. WOW!! Get your Kleenex ready, Mama!! :) Thankfully, we don't go back until after Labor Day.
ReplyDeleteRelish in your family time and don't worry about blog slacking. We are need of breaks from time to time! So fun to see all the family fun pics.
ReplyDeleteawwww summer, family and swimming pools! Doesn't get much better than that!!
ReplyDeletewhat great shots! Stuart is not a bad photographer! This sounds like such a fun family time :)
ReplyDeleteNice to see your family spending some time together. The years really start speeding by once the kids start school!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Doesn't it seem like summer is busier than ever? It should be more relaxing, but I just hardly have any time. Don't worry -- we'll all be here when you post, no matter when it is!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog... now I've found your too! These pictures just epitomize relaxation and summer time. Nothing better than hanging out by the pool all day.
