Wordless Wednesday:Lots O' Summer Fun...

Oh how we love our summers.  They always seem to fly by.  I think it is because we are so busy and try to cram as much as we can into those summer days.  We are working in the garden, sprucing up our yard, the guys are busy working on the shop, they are spraying beans ( although, I think they are done!), baling straw and yet we still find time for some fun!

My aunt and uncle gave us one of those blue backyard pools.  It was a little nerve racking at first because we have well water and I think we have the rustiest well water in this county....maybe the whole state! (I am exaggerating just a bit, but it is bad)  Our friends said it looked like dirty pond water.  Brad kept telling me to be patient and let the chemicals and filter work their magic.  Oh how I love that man for keeping me grounded at times.  Well, he was right!  The water cleared up in about a week and someone has been in it just about every day since!

B found a toad in her yard.  You would have thought she found a pot of gold...

Mel had to have her pic taken with it, but she would NOT hold it!
My in-laws went to White's Sale Barn in Brookville, IN a couple weeks ago and brought back some mouth watering sweet corn...
The girls were super excited about it.  In fact, B wanted it for a snack and kept begging for supper time to come!

Cousins Taylor and Keith (who I failed to get a pic of...probably because he was sleeping most of the time!) came and went swimming.  They live about an hour from us, but we try to get together as much as possible.
I can always tell when Mel is missing cousin Taylor because she constantly asks me, "Tayer comin'?"

Popsicle break...
Margaret came a couple weeks ago and spent the night.  The girls spent plenty of time in the pool...

I know this is not safe...please don't judge;0)....
Love this pic...
They each have a "friends" picture frame and this photo is going in B's with a copy going to Margaret's house.
A short break from the pool for a 4-wheeler ride...

That afternoon Lily came out to join us.  She has been here so much this summer, I told her she should just move in!
Clothes aren't required if you are under 40"...

After all this summer fun, this is a common sight around our house...
Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your summer!
