I have been a bit of a slacker this summer with the whole craft thing. I feel like we are so busy with other things that this has fallen in the cracks. Sometimes I need to remind myself to breathe.
We made this craft almost two months ago. The idea came from Meg's blog.
Paint an entire piece of paper with water colors and let it dry...
Then paint a canvas stretcher frame with some type of acrylic paint...I got this butterfly punch at Overstock.com and I love it.
It allows you to punch over the entire page and not just the edges.
Deep discussion over punching...
Punch as much as you can...
Then fold the butterflies (or whatever you choose to use)..
Form a design on your canvas...
Then place a small dot of hot glue to the fold on the butterfly...
Ta Da...
Peace...
Ta Da...
Hang to display or just simply set them someplace for plenty of oohs and aahs!
