Peach Pie...

Last week I shared my recipe for Black Raspberry Pie.
This week I am sharing my Peach Pie recipe.  It is the exact same as the black raspberry pie except it has nutmeg in it.

Oh!  And peaches instead of raspberries;0)

Slice your peaches...
Mix in the sugar, flour, margarine, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg...
Pour the mixture in the pie shell...
Top with additional pie shell.  Crimp the edges, or don't and just have a rustic looking pie!  Then make bird scratches in the middle using a knife...
 Bake and Enjoy!!
 Peach Pie

4 c. peaches
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. margarine (melted)
pinch of salt
sprinkle of cinnamon
sprinkle of nutmeg

Slice peaches.
Mix all ingredients with peaches.
Pour into pie shell.
Place additional pie shell over peach mixture.
Crimp edges and place bird scratches in the middle of pie.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

I also froze several peaches so we will have some to make more pies or just eat.

Slice the peaches...
Sprinkle with about 2 tsp of Fruit Fresh to prevent browning...
 Place in a freezer bag...
 and LABEL...
Place in your freezer and enjoy for up to a year!!
