I have to be honest. This hand print christmas wreath didn't quite turn out the way I expected. Mel's worked out better than B's and it was because B's hands were too big. So, this craft is probably better for toddlers...or just use bigger sheets of paper, but the traditional 8.5 x 11 was all I had.
The plus side is this craft is easy to do. Mel needed some help placing her hands, but other than that she did it all on her own.
Start by dipping the child's hand in green paint and then place the hand print on the paper in a circular pattern.
Once the hand prints are dry, have the child add "holly berries" by dipping their fingers in red paint and then place them on the paper.
B added a bow to hers. See what I mean about her hands being a little too big for this craft??
Mel's...
too cute..
