Craft Time:Jellyfish...



 

 

I love jellyfish.  When we visit the aquarium, I could sit for hours and watch them swim.  They just seem to carefree to me.  So when I saw this craft idea, I knew the girls would love it....okay, I loved the idea and hoped that they would also.  It involved paint and sparkles so I knew they couldn't say no!

We happened to do it while the girls' friends, T and K were visiting. 

First we painted the bottom side of a bowl.  I know Jellyfish are normally a shade of pink and T was the only one that had a jellyfish that looked correct, but the girls wanted to paint in different colors, so why not? 

Once they were all finished painting, we set them outside in the hot sun and let them dry while everyone cooled off in the pool... 

The girls decided they looked like hats... 

The girls then painted glue on the bowls, then added sparkles... 

We then added crepe paper... 

Everyone agreed that the poor jellyfish needed faces, so they added those as well...

I didn't get a picture of T and K's finished jelly fish, but here is Mel's...
