A Hunting They Will Go...

A scavenger hunt that is!  B asked me if they could go on a scavenger hunt like they did last year.  I agreed because it got them out of the house.  B came up with the list of items and I wrote them down and drew a picture of each item.

I snapped these two pictures of B before the hunt started.  She is growing up way too fast!...

Marking things off the list that have been found...
Mel participated to the best of her ability, but the attention span of a three year old interfered a bit...

FINALLY a picture where she has both eyes OPEN...
Normally, this is what I get...
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture.  Maybe it's a mom thing.?...

I like this picture as well, but wish the burn barrells and dumpster weren't in the background!...
She's found something...

The wind was not in my favor when I took this picture, obviously.  I almost deleted it before downloading it to the computer, but now I'm glad I kept it.  I converted it to black and white and I am in love with the natural look.  Again, maybe it's a mom thing...
The last item on the list was a ladybug.
B didn't think she would be able to find any, but there were hundreds by a tree.  They were a little hard to catch.  She made a home for it in a glass jar complete with some ladybug food....grass of course!  He lived with us for about a week before he was set free!

And B is beautiful and as for M - both eyes open and smiling or one eye closed and goofy she is just a doll!
