Random Photos and An Apology...

I would like to apologize to all of my loyal blog readers. I haven't posted in a while and I am so sorry for that. Things have been crazy busy around here, for which I am blessed. We don't have the fastest internet connection around here so, sometimes, I sit down to blog and the internet is so slow, that I just give up. But, I am back...and will try to do better. So, if you are still following, I appreciate that! I have seen several of you out and about this summer and several of you have told me that you love my blog. Thanks so much! I love hearing that!

Posted below are some random photos. I thought maybe you have missed the girls...
The wedding B is in(and Brad too) is tomorrow. She has been counting down the days and informed me yesterday that she can't wait to "throw flowers at people":) Hopefully, she will get to practice "throwing" tonight at rehearsal.

I am excited to see her all dressed up. She isn't a "girly-girl".

I am excited to see Brad in his tux. It has been almost 6 years since he has been in one. Several people are counting on a photo! Don't worry...I won't disappoint!

Mel is as sweet as can be.
She is starting to talk more and more.
Last night we were decorating the wagon for the wedding, and she said, "I got a balloon."
Obviously, not plain as day, but we understood her. Dylan, the groom, even understood her!

I have been busy with photo sessions this summer...lots of Seniors.
They are my favorite!
One of the settings on my camera was messed up and I was about ready to call Melinda so she could talk me through how to fix it.
I figured it out and learned something new in the process. I love it when that happens!

I made Fried Green Tomatoes the other day...
I LOVE tomatoes and so I wanted to try them. All the recipes I saw said to use cornmeal for the breading. Well, I don't keep cornmeal in stock, so I just used flour and other seasonings.
I didn't really care for them.
Maybe the cornmeal is what makes them delicious.
If so, please tell me.
Otherwise, I probably won't make them again.
I would rather eat them ripe with some salt.
Or make BLT's.
Okay, now I am hungry!

B starts preschool in a little over a month.
I don't want her to go.
But, it will be good for her.

Well, that's all for now.
I probably won't post again until Monday.
Wedding tomorrow and, hopefully, freezing corn on Sunday!!
