Time is flying by! I feel like this summer has been a complete whirlwind. Jo Jo is 9 months already.
She had her check up last week and she is doing everything a 9 month old should be doing except for cruising along furniture, but that is okay because I am not ready for that. With older sisters, there is too much stuff for her to get her little hands on. She finds the littlest things and her mouth is the first place they go.
She is crawling like a champ, pulling herself up, and eating like it is her job.
She is eating only "big people food" now. I have a lot of baby food that I would like her to finish, but since she tested the waters, she won't go back.
We are slowly introducing her to milk and hope to have her weaned from the bottle at one.
She definitely loves her dad and big sisters and Tuff (our dog.) Tuff is getting more patient in his old age, I think. She pokes him and pulls his fur and he doesn't seem to mind. We try to keep her away from him, but she is fast. When she is tired, B is her best form of entertainment, but then she cries when B leaves the room.
She still says "Da" all. the. time. She will sign when she wants something or wants more of something. I'm not sure where she learned this because I haven't taught her any baby sign language.
9 month stats :
18 lbs. 8.5 oz. (50th percentile)
27.5 inches (50th percentile)
Aren't they all the most precious of mysterious creatures? Adorable!
ReplyDeleteShe is too cute
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable and I agree with you about the "crusin' along furniture" stage. It's stressful for this aunt.
