The Wedding...Before and After...

About a month ago I had the honor of photographing my cousin's wedding.
They had a professional photographer also.
I didn't take any pictures of the actual ceremony...I left that to the pros:)
My job was to capture all the "fun shots".
I didn't have to worry about posing.
Just snap away...and I am good at that!
I had a blast!
The day started at 8:00 a.m.
I met the girls at the salon for hair and makeup...

Getting excited...

The bride curled her almost mother-in-law's hair.
Check out the beautician's expression in the background.
I don't think she liked what Rachel was doing.
Rachel, maybe it's a good thing you are an x-ray tech and not a beautician:)

The day was full of smiles and laughter...

The mother of the bride, Rachel, and her sister....the Maid of Honor...

The mothers-in-law...

I love this pic.
I don't know why...nothing special, just one of my favorites...

The groom's parents...

I had to include this one in my post of favorites.
Denise took it and I love it!

I attempted to get everyone in this shot, but we were moving so I did the best I could!

The cake was gorgeous and yummy.
Denise...Groom's sis and my cousin made it.
If you live in the area and need a cake for any event, let me know and I will give you her info.

The DJ's, TJ and Hooch...best DJ's ever, asked the Bride and Groom a series of questions about each other and they had to answer by lifting up the correct person's shoe. If they didn't answer correctly, they had to kiss.
I think they answered all of them correct...

We seem to have started several wedding reception traditions in the "ville"
The first is the crocodile during "The Shout"...

The second is the "hog trough dance".
If the younger sibling gets married before the older sibling then they must dance in a hog trough together...filled with beer.

The dance floor was packed the whole night...

The third tradition was started by Mel.
No, not our daughter Mel...hopefully she isn't dancing on a chair anytime soon...or ever!
The song is "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC...

These three look like they are doing a barbershop quartet...

The next couple pix were not taken by me.
I think my husband took them???...

The end.
By the way...anyone want to claim these rears?
It is still a mystery who they belong to.
