Savannah Day 3...

On Saturday, we headed out to the beach again.

This time, Aunt Lauren was with us...

Mel enjoyed picking up shells, but still preferred to stay as far from the water as possible.

Then we headed to AJ's Dockside for lunch. A fun little restaurant..(Mel is has her eyes crossed in this photo.)

Then we headed back to the hotel. Took showers/baths...and were ready in record time! And headed to the wedding.

The wedding was at a local chapel in Savannah. Paula Deen was married in this same chapel.

The normal church pastime...

This is the groom's sister, Belinda. She had her baby on Friday, so obviously, wasn't able to make the wedding. They had a picture of her on display at the front of the chapel, so she was still a part of the wedding.

The officiant;John; and Alex, the bestman...

John and his brothers, Alex and Matt...

They wrote their own vows. That was neat. This was the first wedding I had been to where they did that.

The only pictures I took of the chapel were from inside the van...that is why this one is crooked, but you get the point...

The reception started off with appetizers.....fried mac n cheese balls and crab legs. I didn't have any crab legs, but the mac n cheese balls were sooo good...and they had Tabasco sauce on them which was a plus for me. I love my hot sauce!! They they served a salad. You had a choice for the main course. You could have salmon, chicken, or pork. I chose the salmon...and it was wonderful. Next was the cake...it was awesome!!! Brad's cousin's husband, Nathan, summed it up perfectly when he said,"The food just keeps getting better with each course." That it did!

We were seated at the kid's table. Brad's cousin and I had the only kids there, plus the flowergirl and ring bearer. Poor Lauren, she doesn't have any kids, but still has to set at the kids table!!:) Shhh, I think she enjoyed it! From left to right, in the photo below: B, Nathan, Natalie, Cameron(hidden behind the flower), Melissa (Brad's cousin), Me, and Mel...

Uncle Toney and Aunt Cindy...

Melissa, the bride, is a dance choreographer. She even got to teach Miley Cyrus some dance moves for one of her videos. They danced to "Better Together" by Jack Johnson...

Seriously, where are this girl's table manners?? Who does she belong to??...

Marissa, the flower girl; Mel; and Natalie...

There was a balcony outside of Vics on the River, where the reception was held, and it was gorgeous...

It must have been Prom somewhere close by, because we saw a lot of "Prom go-ers" around town and a lot of Limos...

Look at this big boat! This pic doesn't do it justice. You should have seen it in person! HUGE!!! And this was the best pic I could get...

This group of guys had old cars that they had fixed up. They were cruising River Street. This one had a television as the backseat of his car!...

All four of the fancy cars...
