Craft Time...

Craft time on Monday we made Santas...
(blurry pic of Mel)...
Can you believe I let my daughter use a permanent marker??
She doesn't use them all the time...but does use them a lot!
She is pretty good about only using them on paper.


Gluing cotton balls on the plate for the beard...

Mel prefers to sit on the table rather than on a chair during craft time.

It works for her, so it works for me!

After making Santa, B said, "Mommy, let's make an elf."

I, of course, said, "Um...sure!"

"Elves weren't really in the plan but what is Santa without his elf anyway??"

Mel refused to hold her projects up so I could take a picture so this is as good as it gets.

The elves turned out pretty good considering I flew by the seat of my pants!

I attached some yarn to the back of them and they are hanging from the window latches in the toy room.

Now I can say, "Santa's watching you!" and I won't be fibbing!

Cookie Day 2010...

Brad's family had their annual cookie day on Sunday.
This was the 31st year for the event.
B helped for a little bit.

All the workers were cheerful. I think.

Sometimes it gets a little messy.

Mel thought the powdered sugar was yummy!

Mel helped for a little bit too.

She helped a lot longer than B.

Don't worry. Her hands were washed before she actually started helping.

Lauren and I both had on the same Colts shirts.

It wasn't planned at all.

Great minds think alike. I think.

It still wasn't enough to get a win for the Colts.

This gingerbread house was made by Grandma Colleen, Aunt Lauren, B and Mel last week...

Project 365 Day 335...

SNOW!...

We had our first accumulative snowfall on Saturday so the girls and Brad attempted to build a snowman.
B thought it would be fun to go down the snow-covered slide.

Mel worked hard while B played.

Still hard at work...

Tuff has always enjoyed the snow...

B decided to help once it was almost complete...

I didn't get any pictures of the finished product.

I had work to do on the computer.

I got a virus on Saturday morning.

Well, my computer did, not me.

I was trying to find a picture of the Grinch for B's birthday party and evidently one of the photos I attempted to download contained a virus.

I called my "computer guy" and he talked me through the steps to backdate the computer to Friday which deleted the virus.

It seems to have worked.

No more searching for Grinch pictures for me!
