Project 365 Day 64...

Sick...

18 months...

Mel turned 18 months on March 5th. She had her 18 month checkup yesterday.
She weighs 21.5 lbs (10th percentile)
She is 31.75 inches tall ( 50-75th percentile)
Dr. Paula said she is tall and skinny...we already knew that!
Everything else is fine. She has reached the milestones she should reach at this age. She had to get one shot and a toe prick to check her hemoglobin level. She is finished with shots until she goes to Kindergarten. Yay!

Unfortunately, she is sick today. She is running a mild fever of 100.2. When I got her out of bed this morning, she had gotten sick sometime in the night. I hate it when that happens! Makes me feel horrible because they have to sleep like that all night. She has slept most of the day and is down for a nap right now. I gave her Motrin before she fell asleep so hopefully that will help a little. I think she picked this bug up at the doctor's office. They have walk-in hours from 7:30 to 9 every day. If your kid is sick you can bring them in at that time. Her appointment was at 10:00 and the waiting room was still FULL of sick kids. They were all coughing and laying on the floor and chairs. It seems like every time I take the girls for their well checkups they always end up getting sick! Hopefully it is just a 24 hr. thing!

The Breakfast of Brittney...

A couple weeks ago, the girls and I went to visit my sister. I woke up in, what I thought, was plenty of time to get myself ready before the girls woke up. While I was in the shower, I heard B get out of bed. She met me at the bathroom door and our conversation went something like this:
B: "Good morning Mommy!"
Me: "Hi B. Do you want me to make you something for breakfast?"
B: "No thanks Mom. I got it myself."
Now at this point, I was impressed. I thought, " Wow she can fix her own breakfast...how cool is that?!"
Then I walked in the bedroom and saw this...
Oh well! I am sure there is SOME sort of nutrition in Pringles...right?

Project 365 Day 63...

Messy face...

Grandma Colleen & Papaw Tom...

Just B...

Some fun photos of B. At the birthday party yesterday she kept wanting me to take her picture.

Yes. I do realize she is "flying the bird" in this pic. No, she doesn't know that she is doing it. She has no clue what it means. We don't teach our kids that stuff. We aren't like that!

Hope you are having a great Monday!
