Snow!!!!!!!!

we finally had enough snow for b to go out and play...she has been begging us to have a snowball fight since she watched the movie Elf back in November. she is finally POTTY TRAINED (except for naps and bedtime). It wasn't as bad as i had anticipated. the first day was horrible and i was ready to give it up, but it seemed to click over night because the next day was much better. we had a few accidents, but not nearly as many as we did when we started it at two years. my goal was to have her halfway trained when she goes for her 3 yr. checkup. i knew the pediatrician would have a cow if i didn't have her potty trained....she asked me at her 15 or 18 month checkup (not sure which one) how the potty training was going...crazy!!:) oh, the same day mel rolled over, b went pee pee in the potty...it was a good day.

Christmas!!!!!!!!

i FINALLY found time to post christmas pictures. i feel like i have been going none stop since christmas. it was a little crazy with seven parties to attend. here are some photos. brittney did get woody and buzz lightyear. she opened buzz first and said, "i have to find woody." she hugged both of them and she said, "i'm so happy." it was priceless, and i couldn't have asked for anything better at christmas then to see her that happy.

and people tell me melaney looks like me.....

my grandparents got brittney a huge tractor puzzle. i think we have put it together about 50 times since christmas!

my sister's babe...

four generations. not the best photo, but it is hard to get three little ones to look at the camera! all girls, but not for long. we just found out that two boys will be added to the mix. my brother and sister-in-law are having twin boys.

Rolling over!!!!........

Melaney rolled from her back to her stomach for the first time today. She has been practicing this for awhile. She has been rolling from her stomach to her back for about the last month....tummy time paid off with this child...i think b was 5 months before she finally rolled over. she hated tummy time!!:)

one big happy family...

well, here we all are! for those of you who don't know my family...my dad is one of thirteen, so i come from a BIG family. i enjoy it . we are all very close and always have a lot of fun when we get together. this snapshot is of all the grandkids and great grandkids. my grandma and grandpa are also in the picture. this is all of us except for nine (i believe). Brad and B are two of the nine that were not in the photo. they were too busy taking tractors out of the boxes. Mel and I are in the photo, if you can find us...it's kind of like where's waldo!!:) I'll give you a hint...i'm not holding mel...someone else is. we have been taking this picture ever since i can remember. not everyone is looking at the camera, but it is a memory. the following photo is of my sister and her little one....

in case you can't see the resemblence...these girls are sisters. their brother is in the previous photo with his girlfriend.

once again she sat on his lap with no struggle. she had to let the other kiddos tell him what they wanted, but i guess she wasn't completely finished with her list...she went and sat on my aunt's lap and said, "but aunt connie, i'm not done yet."

since b loved santa so much, she got to give him the plate of cookies....

this is my brother's wife. she is getting some practice with melaney. they are expecting twins and are due in may!
