she's3!!!!!!!.............

we celebrated b's birthday on friday. all she wanted was a pink bicycle(i ran over her other one...at least it was just a hand-me-down). she got her pink bicycle along with some other surprises.

i am amazed at how well she can ride her bicycle...it's bigger than the previous one.

it was like a birthday for margaret as well because anything b got, margaret will get to play with also.

the girls....

i was reading someone's blog the other day and they had a photo of their 2 1/2 month old sitting in a saucer...melaney constantly wants to sit up or stand, but still needs our help to do this, and obviously we can't do that 24/7. i thought she was still too little to use the saucer, but when i saw the picture of the other baby i thought i would give it a shot and she loves it. if she isn't sleeping, she is in her saucer because she likes it so much. when i look at these pictures i can't believe how much she looks like her daddy. sure she has my blue eyes and red hair, but everything else is her daddy. you may not see the resemblence, but i sure do...especially when he is holding her. she also looks identical to her sister when b was this age.

i was at kroger and they were giving away free ice cream...it is mango flavored...i think it is nasty, but b likes it.

brittney and i made reindeer cookies last night. she had a blast!! her job was to put their eyes on the reindeer.

this is our most recent family picture...the last one that was taken was christmas of last year. it's hard having a family picture taken when i'm the one taking the picture, but thanks to brad's sister we manage to get it done!

B's 3 year pictures. time sure does fly! it makes me a little sad that she is going to be 3 on friday, but proud that i have managed to raise such a sweet girl...well, she isn't always sweet, but every toddler has their moments right??

a visit from santa...

Milroy Methodist Church had a Christmas dinner the other night. the little girl with brittney in most of these photos is her best friend margaret. her mom and dad are both pastors at this church.

i didn't think brittney would sit on his lap, but she marched right up there and told him exactly what she wanted...she must have had a long list because she was up there a long time...

this is margaret's little brother nathan...he and melaney are only one month apart, so hopefully they will get to play together someday as well...

oh christmas tree..

we put a pink princess tree in b's room....we don't have a star or angel for the top, but we have belle from beauty and the beast...

cookie day...

brad's grandmother and aunts started a tradition several years ago called cookie day. everyone gets together and makes tons of cookies. this year we made about 133 dozen. as you can see, brittney enjoyed helping.

lauren and stu got into an icing fight...
