Coloring Easter Eggs...
Last night, we colored Easter eggs with the girls.

Mel was content eating raisins for a little bit...

Then she decided she wanted to join in the fun...

She didn't understand you weren't supposed to dip your hand in the dye...

Mel's egg...

Daddy's egg...

B putting stickers on her "Hello Kitty" egg...

Now if you'll excuse me. B is walking around outside with a mason jar filled with grass. She is trying to catch a bird. I have to go explain to her that you really can't catch a bird...unless it has a broken wing. And even then...you can't catch a bird because then I would have to help her and I don't do the whole bird thing:)

Stay tuned for those pix.
A Family Affair...
To us, gardening is a family affair. B has always loved being out in the garden and playing in the dirt. It seems Mel is going to enjoy it this year also...

Project 365 Day 87...
Flashback...
I was cleaning out my hard drive last night.
I hate that job.
It ranks up there between cleaning the toilet and clipping my toenails:)
I am always worried when I delete a picture off the hard drive.
Even though they are never really gone.
Before I delete a pic, I always think, "Should I delete this?"
"What if I need to have one extra print of it sometime?"
"Have I scrapbooked it?"
And then I remember..."Oh yeah, they are all saved on a flash drive, so I am good."
My mind is constantly racing with thoughts like this.
B has trouble falling asleep at night because her little mind is running all the time.
Brad gets frustrated because, "She just won't go to sleep."
I think she gets this from me.
My mind is constantly racing.
I am always thinking of things that i have to get done.
Things that don't need done, but I want to do them anyways.
I can't relax.
We go on vacation, and I have to have something to do constantly.
Oh yeah, back to the subject of this post...
I hesitate for a few more seconds until finally.....
I hit the delete icon!
Gone, gone forever.
And then I have a good feeling because I have that much more space on my computer for even MORE pics!!
Anywho...enough rambling. Although, it does feel good to get that off my chest.
While I was cleaning off the hard drive last night, I ran across these pictures of B. They were taken in May 6, 2007. She was 17 1/2 months. I wanted to post them before I deleted them. They took me aback and made me think about how fast time flies.
If you notice in these pix, her face is covered in chocolate batter, but there is not a drip on her shirt. She was always the neatest little eater....and still is. Mel, on the other hand, not so much. I think I counted 4 spills this morning that I had to clean up...oh well, it is part of being a kid and I wouldn't trade one second of it! Enjoy the flashback!!

Popsicles...
With the warmer weather the girls are enjoying a special snack. They are sugar free which is the best part of all!!
The bib that Mel has on, is seriously the BEST thing ever invented. If you have a toddler or are an expectant mother, or now someone who is pregnant, this is the best gift money can buy!!! You just was them in the sink with the rest of the dishes and let it air dry. I occasionally run it through the washing machine....you seriously need one!
