Christmas Dinner...

On Sunday we went to a Christmas Dinner at our church. Well, Margaret's church if you ask B.
Singing Christmas carols while waiting for Santa to arrive.

Waiting patiently for her turn on Santa's lap...

Still talking...

Still talking...

Still talking...

Oh, I think Santa has lost interest...

Okay, we have his full attention again...

And still talking...

These pix of Mel crack me up. In this one she doesn't know who has her...

"What is this white glove thing?"...

"Oh my!!"

"What is going on?"

"Mommy, Daddy, Grandma....someone please help."
And of course I love the photos of the kids crying on Santa's lap.

And still talking....
Well, I think Santa got an earful that night, but hopefully she remembered everything on her wishlist....because there is a lot!!!

Cookie Day...

Last Saturday was our annual cookie day. This was the 30 year anniversary for the event. We baked approximately 1,300 cookies. It is a lot of fun and everyone gets to go home with several dozen cookies.

Brittney and Margaret went to the holiday fair at the local high school. They did this last year so, I guess you could say, it is starting to become a tradition. Hopefully the tradition will continue even though Margaret is moving:0(....but more on that topic later. Here they are showing off their face painting. B's is a little hard to see because of the light...

B loved helping...if only for a short time. You know....the attention span of a 4 yr. old isn't very long. She is now saying she wants to be a chef when she grows up. She is only 4 so that will probably change.

Mel was content reading a book....for a short while.

They would both rather play with Tommy.

B's pet rock and Margaret's caterpillar from the holiday fair...

Mexican Wedding Cakes...

Chocolate Puffs on the right and Thumbprints on the left...

More Chocolate Puffs...

More Thumbprints...

Kisses...

Disney on Ice...

We are taking B to see this tonight...

I am so excited. We went last year and it was so much fun! I am going to try to take pictures and will post them when I get a chance.

Camera Straps...

Beki, who also has a blog, is giving away one of these fun camera straps to one of her readers. All you have to do is visit her blog and leave a comment telling which one is your favorite. If you blog or twitter about it, you get an extra chance to win...which is why I am blogging about it!:0) Plus, I thought some of my fellow photography lovers would love to snatch one of these puppies up. You can view all of the designs by visiting Shealynn's etsy site.
My fave...

Feeding...

Saturday night the girls and I ventured out and "helped" Brad feed the cattle. When I say help...I actually mean watched. B kept running, which spooked the cattle...which caused them to run. Fortunately, they didn't get out. Mel was in awe the whole time. She kept pointing at the cows and saying "wow", or maybe that is how she says "cow". I had to keep her out of the mud puddles. She would run for them. But, we had fun and it was nice to get out of the house.

B loves her Pioneer hat...

We are having our carpets cleaned this afternoon. I am ready to have that job finished. Wish me luck in keeping the girls to only a few rooms. Hopefully they nap well!
